  • Started Remedy Partner’s React.js practice, leading the way to enable all frontend single page web applications to be converted from Angular.js to React.js using Redux and Redux-Form.
  • Newsroom Developer in the editorial department of TIME.com. Built bespoke interactive web experiences for TIME.com including the highest revenue generating project in 2015 “A Year In Space” – interactive home of a multi-episode documentary chronicling Scott Kelly’s year long mission aboard the International Space Station.

Successfully initiated, lead and expanded a unique collaboration between TIME and Avans University of Applied Sciences, Breda Netherlands. In charge of Citigroup Investment Research application portfolio management, technology strategy alignment with Global Investment Research business strategy including application roadmap and target state architecture.

Evaluated Citigroup Investment Research application portfolio for business strategy alignment, retirement of obsolete legacy applications in 2007 which led to an ongoing, actualized annual savings of $300,000 in hardware and maintenance expenses.

Created and maintained application road map outlining transition to target state architecture over 24 month period leveraging Citigroup’s Global Wealth Management sector-wide shared services.

Communicated difficult technical concepts to line of business stakeholders by giving presentation and writing white papers.

Equity Research Pro – Lead Developer (October 2002 – 2005):

Responsible for maintaining and extending Jovus’ Equity Research Pro application development. Responsibilities include implementation of new features, improving existing features and installing Equity Research Pro for clients. Technologies used include Java Swing, SOAP, servlet development, Oracle and MS-SQL Server database access, customizing MS Word using VBA

Conceptualized and developed brand new product line based on creating customized stock price charts based on NASD Rule 2711.

Smith Barney Equity Research (now Citigroup Investment Research)- Consultant (2001 – 2003)

Lead consultant for the Global Equity Research Database project, a Java application server-based software connecting Excel spreadsheets to an object-oriented database for fundamental equity research data.

Designed and implemented Java web services for SOAP and WSDL interface.

Conceptualized a framework integrating the Global Database into existing internal equity research applications world-wide across multiple platforms.

Developed performance testing applications, conducted performance testing and improvements.

Created project-wide design specifications and conducted project and design reviews with Senior Management.

Deutsche Bank Equity Research – Consultant (2000 – 2001)

Led team of consultants to implement a new generation Global Equity Research Database.
